An opportunity has arisen for a qualified, experienced and professional Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our dynamic team.
You will be managing the quantity surveying function for job site contracts and to ensure the maximum contribution for the company.
You must be able to provide quotations for all works, as well regular visits to check the progress of work; ensuring the projects are completed on time and to high standards. You must be able to read and prepare drawings of projects.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
* Strong background working as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
* Site Supervisor SSSTS Course
* Traffic Marshall Supervisor
* Asbestos Awareness
* CSCS Card
* Proven track record of working on projects from inception to completion
* Portfolio of projects
* Deadline focused
* Strong negotiation skills
* Computer literate with strong mathematical skills
* Full, clean driving licence with access to own vehicle - fuel to be provided
* Experience in extensions, renovations, loft conversions, basements and some commercial experience
* Good time keeper with strong organisation
The role is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, with some Saturday and evening work as required.
Salary will be up to GBP55,000.00 per annum dependant on experience
