Location: Solihull - Central (3 days a week WFH)
Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 + GBP1800 Bonus

A fantastic organisation are now recruiting for another BI Developer that will sit within the Data Warehouse team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the SQL Data Warehouse, which holds key loan by loan data from the core servicing platforms for the entire range of the organisation's loan and savings portfolios. This data is updated on a daily basis and their warehouse is designed to facilitate analysis and fulfil all the organisations reporting and Business Intelligence requirements.
This Senior BI Developer will have an influence on the end to end BI solutions in place, from data warehouse design, building ETL packages and MI reporting. They will interrogate historic data to analyse and understand trends, giving insight and influencing strategy.
Role and Tasks:
* Design and develop automated solutions to assist the business in its operation, utilising the Microsoft SQL Server 2016 suite of products
* Investigate and remediate issues arising in the overnight runs
* Analysing trends in the performance and behaviour of the Group's loan assets based upon historical data
* Ongoing reconciliation and validation of account data
* Production of regular and ad hoc reporting solutions as and when requested by the business areas across the organisation
* Producing analysis and insight to understand performance over time
* Provide recommendations to the business based on the results of analysis undertaken
* Responsibility for testing new SQL code to ensure correct results are achieved before being incorporated into the 'Live' warehouse
Requirements
* Strong SQL background, with experience of T-SQL & SSIS
* Experience of working with data warehouses
* Experience of analysing and reporting on large/complex datasets
* Ability to develop new solutions using methodologies consistent with current solutions
* Strong commercial acumen
* Analytically focussed and detail conscious
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
