The Best Connection Group Limited is looking to appoint an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our existing team based in Bromsgrove reporting to the IT Manager.

The core function on an Infrastructure Engineer is to support the service desk by providing a point of escalation for applicable support requests. The best solution will then be determined based on the issue and details provided by internal customers. Additional duties will include maintaining the IT infrastructure, creating and implementing repair strategies and conducting root cause analysis of malfunctions. This role will be based in Bromsgrove, with occasional travel to site locations.

The Package:

Annual salary of approximately GBP26,000 to GBP30,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Initially you will be entitled to 30 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days after a year's employment inclusive of statutory holidays.

Essential Criteria:

Intermediary level certification with MS, Cisco, VMWare or other recognised bodies
Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues
Proficiency in English
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work occasional weekends and out of hoursDesirable Criteria:

Advanced or Specialist level certification with MS, Cisco, VMWare or other recognised body
Proven experience as a 2nd/3rd line support or similar support role
Extensive knowledge of data privacy laws
