Senior Estimator
Bridge Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Senior Estimator to join a large establishment refurbishment &fit-out contractor in West Moseley.
Ideally you will have 10-15 years' experience in Estimating and Construction. It is highly advantageous that you are conversant with dry-lining, carpentry and flooring.
You will have a strong sub-contractor background with good IT and academical skills. You must be confident speaking on the phone and presenting to clients.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
1. To carry out all necessary requirements in returning fully priced tenders.
2. Carry out take off of required quantities.
3. Obtain materials, labour and plant prices.
4. Formulate tender for submission.
5. Review contract conditions to negotiate out risk items for the company.
6. Carry out site visits / survey.
7. Assist and work with MD in tender reviews.
8. Produce schedule of resource rates for Quality Surveyor once project secured.
9. Work with team to handover successful tender into live project status.
Immediate start for the right candidate. This selected candidate would be working 45 hour week from the clients HQ.
Occasional sites visits are required but my client is open to one day working at home once a probation period has been passed.
The client is offering a generous package of GBP55,000 - GBP65,000 plus a company car, private pension an on-site gym membership.
