Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for an Administration Assistant to join the Professional Standards Department.

Responsibilities will include:

Provide a full support service in connection with the processing of complaints and misconduct investigations against police using defined procedures and precedents. Maintain all PSD records.
To have a good understanding of and be able to work within policies and procedures, business rules and protocols relating to the Professional Standards Department.
Provide excellent customer service to members of the public and internal staff using good communication skills to respond promptly and efficiently to any queries.
To be proficient to the required standard in the use of the Force complaints computer system - Centurion.
Provide statistical information to assist with the preparation of reports on complaints.
Prioritise own work with minimum supervision and complete to a high degree of accuracy.
Organise car hire, hotel bookings, and other administrative arrangements for members of the department.

This is a temporary contract for initially 6 months.

Monday to Friday, office hours

GBP19,452 per annum.

Successful candidates will be subject to a thorough police vetting background check.
