Restaurant manager
Customer Service
Lead by example treating customers as top priority and displaying excellent customer service behaviours.
Be customer focused in all areas of the restaurant operations, including addressing customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed at all times of the day.
Work with the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Shift Managers/shift leaders to maintain operational efficiency, using training materials both online and on the job training methods available.
Ensure regular restaurant walk throughs are conducted to gain the customers perspective of their visit.
Producing schedules that accurately reflect the pattern of trade, ensuring flexibility and sufficient cover.
Operations
Knows their numbers specifically analysing the stores Key Performance Indicators daily including i.e., sales, food, labour and wastage cost, daily transactions, speed of service, SMG, and Product management system compliance.
Be the strength on challenging shifts, set the example for the team by keeping a cool head under pressure
Checking food orders orders and ensuring that all incoming orders are checked for accuracy quality.
Ensure systems are in place for the service of safe food served to all customers
Develop a maintenance programme/schedule for all equipment for preventative maintenance and calibration purposes.
Maintains optimal inventory levels and ensures that the store is getting proper yields from all products.
Ensure that all tills are accurately counted, and all overages and shortages are investigated promptly.
Complete all end of day, week and month reports i.e., Daily cash sheets, deposits, sales, waste, and inventory.
Reports all injuries/illness, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents and any contravention of health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures to the Area manager.
Ensuring accurate completion of all logs for temperature control.
Ensure that the restaurant specific opening and closing procedures are adhered to.
Maintaining operational standards within the restaurant, such as food quality, food hygiene standards, customer experience, speed of service and hospitality, restaurant cleanliness and the restaurant team's presentation and grooming standards.
Be the strength on challenging shifts, set the example for the team by keeping a cool head and Support and lead the entire team in operations during busy times to ensure output is achieved in line with the company's KPIs

Ensure all team have completed their E-learning path on the Company platform and are able to demonstrate their learnings.
Responsible for human resource (HR) management including conducting return to work interviews, authorising holiday requests, the implementation of our disciplinary procedures, dealing with grievances, and conducting annual appraisals
Sets goals and objectives for all members of the team and provide support and guidance where necessary.
Encourage staff to share suggestions and concerns.
Work alongside the management team to identify high performers and employees with potential to train and develop them for the next level of responsibility.
Monitor and submit payroll information for all employees.
Create a positive teamworking environment to ensure that all employees are treated with dignity and respect and are free from discrimination.
Driving Sales
Knowledgeable in all aspects of restaurant sales, with an in-depth understanding of sales, popular products, peak trade times, and adjusts accordingly.
Ensure all products are correctly merchandised, at sufficient levels and in line with all aspects of the marketing campaigns.
Ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed, stocked, and running to operational standards.
Work with the store management team to properly position employees to ensure fast, friendly, and efficient service.
Ensure coaching of employees to 'up-sell' and 'suggestive sell' to customers is taking place.
Complete weekly cost control reports, i.e., P&L
Constantly evaluate where the restaurant could improve.
Re-evaluate employee incentives to bring employees focus to continuous improvement.
