Lead Estimator
We are currently looking to recruit a Lead estimator to join our Projects team, this is an office/home-based role which you will be required to work from our Shrewsbury based office 2 to 3 days a week.
We are a commercial M&E company working with large nationwide retail clients as well as other sectors.
The successful candidate will be required to produce accurate quotations for the Electrical and Mechanical (Gas and HVAC) element of works. Project estimations can range between GBP100k and GBP2M across a wide range of sectors. Managing a small team of Estimators and working closely with Project Managers you will be responsible for ensuring quotes meet the specified deadlines as well as following up quotations with clients, arranging handover meetings with Project managers for jobs won and attending management meetings to discuss and present data relevant to the department.
You may be required from time to time to attend site visits and meet with clients.
We are looking for candidates that have experience in Estimating with an ideally a technical background within the M&E field. Candidates who have management experience will be given preferential treatment during the sifting process. Candidates will be expected to be computer literate although training will be provided on in-house software, hold a valid driving licence and be willing to work the hours to suit the role.
