A leading global Automation company has a fantastic opportunity arise for a field service engineer.
Our client looks after their employees with a competitive salary and great benefit packages.
The role includes travelling the south wales sector, fault finding and repairing low and medium voltage drives. Because the role is mainly based around Variable Frequency Drives, we are preferably looking for someone electrically qualified and with previous work experience around the drive field.
Main responsibilities will be to carry out the following functions:
+ Fault finding, repair and maintenance of Low and Medium Frequency Drives
+ Medium and low voltage circuit breaker maintenance.
+ Provide advice on the conditions of the customers equipment and recommending future upgrades where necessary
The position includes extensive travel and is estimated to around 40 hours per week with well paid overtime. The role will require a hard-working, efficient, friendly engineer that is willing and able to cover a broad sector. Overtime and travel expenses mean an opportunity to improve on the basic salary to averaging GBP70k-GBP80k a year.
Essential:
+ Electrically Qualified
+ Experience with Variable Speed Drives / Inverters / Variable Frequency Drives / AC DC Drives
+ Willing to travel
