Collaborative Robotics Sales Engineer

Location: Tamworth (B77 5PN).
Salary: GBP35,000-40,000 basic salary, GBP35,000-50,000 OTE.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

As a technical distributor of the leading brand of Collaborative Robot, we are in a fantastic position to make a real impact in the UK. Cobot sales in the UK are growing at 20%+ Year on year and this is a fantastic opportunity to progress with the industry and business.

Have you got a passion for getting into target customers? Do you have ability to demonstrate the advantages of collaborative robotic application? Can you see a project from concept to deployment?

We are looking for a dedicated sales engineer in the Midlands region who wants to put their mark on the industry. With an increasing rate of deployment, we need Cobot champion who with drive the growth going forward.

Role and responsibilities:

• Identify and approach target customers to enable growth.
• To provide an exceptional level of customer service and promote repeat business.
• To manage the sales cycle from start to finish.
• To be able to identify and attack market opportunities for collaborative robots
• Build and maintain first class relationships with our internal team and suppliers.
• Be able to identify and communicate opportunities for WMH's other departments.
• Build and maintain a high-level of communication with your team.

Other:

• Reports directly to the Division Manager of Robotics.
• Technical Team to support with applications
• Full Product Training provided

Requirements for the position:

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the robotics and/or automation environment.
• University or equitant qualification in engineering or related subject.
• IT literate, strong English literacy and the ability to present to a wide target audience.
• A minimum of 60% Travel within the UK 40% of the time prospecting and generating quotations.
• Commutable to our HQ in Tamworth where our showroom is based.
• A real passion to drive Cobot growth in the UK.
• The ability to identify and generate new business.
