SEN TAs required to work on an ongoing/ supply basis
An Ofsted 'Good' SEN School are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants join their team. TA's experienced working across EYFS, Primary and Secondary Phases' are encouraged to apply.
The school is committed to providing a safe, caring and engaging environment which ensures that all pupils are able to access high quality learning opportunities that cater for their individual needs and interests.
With a Nurture Provision, Primary and Secondary phase, the school caters for various SEN including Autism, PMLD, MLD, Downs Syndrome, ADHD and challenging behaviour. The severity of additional needs vary across the school.
Initially this is to start on a Supply/ Bank basis. However for the right candidate there is potential for this to become long term.
Immediate start
Your main duties will include:
* Providing 1:1 and general classroom support
* Assisting children with daily activities
* Supporting the class teacher to plan and deliver activities
* Creating and organising displays
* Assessing pupil progress and ensuring a safe learning environment
Each class has 8 pupils with 1 Teacher, 2 LSAs and a fantastic leadership team to provide additional support.
The ideal candidates will have experience working with various SEN and will have a DBS registered to the update service.
Primary and Secondary Trained TAs are encouraged to apply.
Applications from youth/support workers, residential support workers, children's security service providers, nursing staff and graduates experienced working with children and young people are also encouraged to apply.
