If you are looking to advance your career as part of a hard-working and friendly team, this is the role for you.

The Company

Our client is a residential heating and plumbing company that specialises in gas installations and renewable energy such as ground and air source heat pump installations. Installations include high end, large, residential and light commercial projects.

This is a great opportunity to immediately join their team as a Gas Safe Engineer and help them continue to exceed customers’ expectations.

The Benefits

- Bonus scheme
- A work van with fuel card
- Flexible working hours (as the team can work from 7:00 – 16:00)
- Opportunities to progress within the business
- Full uniform provided
- Supportive and welcoming culture
- Excellent training to progress your skills

If you have commercial gas experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to take on a secure role offering some great rewards. You’ll also have the chance to get involved with plant room installations, take on a varied and engaging workload and increase your skill-set and scope of experience.

The Role

As a Gas Safe Engineer, you will primarily be working on plant room installations on new build projects and refurbishments. You may also get involved with 1st and 2nd fixes as part of your day-to-day work.

Specifically, you will:

- Undertake plant room installations from 24-70kw gas boilers ASHPs and GSHPs, up to light commercial plant rooms 175kw
- Carry out underfloor heating system installations and wiring and commissioning to the latest standards
- Depending on your experience, complete preventative maintenance/fault-finding activities

About You

To be considered as a Gas Safe Engineer, you will need:

- To be a Gas Safe registered Plumber or be working towards your Gas Safe qualification
- Commercial gas experience
- A full driving licence

Whilst not essential, knowledge of underfloor heating and experience of working with renewable heat pumps would be an advantage. Mechanical project management experience would also be beneficial.
