About Our Client:
This company are a leading name in London & the Home Counties. The majority of projects are residential, some mixed use RC Frame and others typical greenfield family homes. The business also undertake social housing frameworks "decent homes." They have a very solid order book and plenty of projects in the pipeline or already on site. Although a business that has grown to have hundreds of millions in turnover, they have stuck to one office and maintained the family values and mindset that has served so well for over 50 years. The Role:
Two roles are currently available within the business. Although very similar when it comes to the duties, certain experiences must be different. Typical duties will including taking the bid from notification through to submission. This would include PQQ, SQ, EOI, submission requirements, chasing information, designing and formatting the document and then submitting the completed tender documents.
This role offers flexibility regarding working hours and working from home. The company want to attract people that value life outside work. Experience using InDesign would be a major positive as this is used widely within the business. You will have the opportunity to develop and progress yourself from day one. The company will help with training and assist should you wish to become a member of AMPM, if you are not already.
Bid Writer - Social Housing.
* This role requires direct experience within the social housing refurbishment sector. Ideally you would have worked for a leading contractor within this field
Bid Writer - General.
* This will be predominantly working on new build projects within London. You could come from a broader background but still must have large Main Contractor experience and on projects over GBP30m
The Applicant:
The applicant must have the above experience and show a strong career history, not moving from employer to employer, although recent events will be taken in to consideration.
You may be considered for thei role if you are not an established Bid Writer but show a core understanding of the role and want to develop in to the position. That said, you must still have relevant experience, maybe as a Bid Coordinator.
