Candidate - Experienced industry professional, Heating or Plumbing Engineer with hands on experience installing, technically advising, servicing, maintaining and installing heating and plumbing systems incorporating air source heat pumps.
The Position
This is a brand-new Heating Engineer position that has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest renewable energy systems providers in the UK. As the Heating Engineer you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing air source heat pumps on residential housing projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes new build or retro fit, through local authorities and housing associations.

Experience Required
Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating either install, service and/or maintenance of domestic unvented hot water systems incorporating heat pumps - either Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP's) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP's) or other renewable technologies such as HIU's, solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Furthermore, recognised industry training and further education qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, refrigeration and heat pumps, heating and ventilation, BPEC, G3, HND, HNC, unvented hot water systems, manufacturer heat pump training are an advantage but not as essential as hands on installation experience and product knowledge.
