Refuse Driver (Class 2 HGV)

Our client are responsible for the collection and disposal / recycling of household and commercial waste across Mid Wales. This role would suit a productive individual who is happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions and happy to walk long distances during you shift. You will be working with a very friendly and welcoming team and longer term opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Duties:
- Driving a HGV Class 2 Refuse Lorry along a designated route.
- Driving and loading complying with driving legislation.
- Collecting and loading recycling and general waste along a designated route.
- Ensuring you comply with all relevant H&S training and requirements.
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standard.
- Manual handling including loading.
Candidate Requirements:
- HGV Class 2 Licence, Driver CPC and Digi Tacho Card.
- Must be happy to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Flexible and a team player.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
- Happy to work in all weather conditions (protective clothing provided).
