Experienced Support Worker Days & Nights Calne

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Support Workers to support a customer based in Calne who has complex support needs, including a learning disability, autism, communication challenges, as well as sensory needs.

About you

Are you a passionate and motivated Support Worker who can support the customer with any aspect of their day to day living. With the ability to work in a person centred and strengths-based way, assisting the customer to enjoy the best possible quality of life, working towards their aspirations. You'll provide personal care, as well as use creative solutions, and assistive technology where available to support independence.

For this position you must have worked in a similar role before and have experience of helping customers to reach their full potential. Holding level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Previous experience in supporting people using Positive Behavioural Support, and skills in the use of Makaton would be desirable.

Working hours

Working on a rota covering various shift patterns which could include days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and waking nights. You may also be required to do sleep ins or be on call.

Additional Sleep-in and On-Call enhancements.

Drivers licence with access to a vehicle is preferable as during the transition period there will be a degree of travel between the two homes to help the customer settle into the new home based in Calne.
