Role and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • The Business Development function is the commercial driver of our growth. The purpose of the department is to win, retain and develop profitable clients. The Commercial & Business Support functions are accountable for specific support activities | Freight Forwarding commercial owners in Business Development, product, and operations.

    Working as part of the Sales team, the Sales Support Co-ordinator will work effectively with the Business Development team across all commercial aspects of the business including BDM's & Branch Management.

    The high level function of this role will undertake:

    • Quote all Customer requests from sales & branch teams
    • Raise quotes and record activity in CRM
    • Sales Lead Generation
    • Customer Service
    • Reporting Quote Statistics (success ratio)
    • Transition new customers into branch operations
    • Implementation - arrange account, set up GID, & SOP
    • Tender production & delivery
    • BD Administration
    • CRM Compliance
    • Customer Service
