A leading Wealth Management / Financial Advisory firm are actively looking to recruit a Manager in their Harrogate offices. We require incredible leadership skills and the requirement to manage a team of up to 10-15 IFA's. The role will cover Private Wealth, Investments, Pensions, Mortgages etc. The candidate must have a very strong Financial Services background in Financial Advice / Wealth Management.
Specifically you'll be responsible for:
* To manage and develop a team of up to 10-15 self-employed Financial Advisers
* To deliver an annual team target, which will be set by the Director, in line with requirements of the business.
* Responsible for delivery and support for company strategy/regulatory changes and business quality.
* Training/Development and Coaching of Advisers
* To lead, manage, coach and develop
* Implement effective training and development plans for all Advisers via an annual assessment and ongoing during the year.
* Increase own and Advisers technical knowledge and awareness of market and legislative conditions to enable the highest standards of advice to be given.
* To demonstrate ongoing Continuing Professional Development of your own knowledge and skills and have responsibility for your own Training and Personal Development Plan.
* To use your current networks within the Financial Advisory space to try and attract new Financial Advisory talent to the business. Recruitment will be a big focus of this role.
* To recruit and retain new and existing Advisers in line with the targets agreed with the Director annually.
We would be seeking a candidate who has at least 4-6 years experience within the Financial Advice sector, either as a Manager or Financial Adviser, coupled with a Diploma in Financial Advice. It would be ideal if you have previously Managed a team of Financial Advisers, or have any previous Sales Management experience.
A great salary is offered as well as the chance to earn comissions based on hitting certain Targets for Adviser Development & Recruitment
