JOB TITLE: Rostering Clerk - Railway Division

REPORTS TO: Account Manager

LOCATION: London Kings Cross (NW1)

POSITION STATUS: Temp to Perm

DAYS: Wednesday to Friday every week

Overall Purpose

Responsible for working with our railway clients in allocation of staff to their specific shifts that need to be covered on a weekly basis.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Assist in the production of employee rosters

2. Liaise with clients on a weekly basis to obtain their weekly requests to be covered and to address any shortfall of staffing requirements.

3. Maintain supplier database and update accordingly to allow selective sourcing of future staffing requirements.

4. Build good and strong relationships with all staff that go into the roster

5. Regular communication with our supervisors on projects. Share vital and key information with them.

Send out completed roster on time on a weekly basis.
Deal with any extra shifts that are requested to be filled (subsequently manage all shifts that have been cancelled and update all parties concerned)
Specific Job Requirements

Skills & Abilities

1. Microsoft Word, Excel

2. Good keyboard skills.

3. Ability to write clear and concise emails

4. Good organisational ability and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills

Experience

Some experience in rostering is beneficial. However, on the job training will be provided (2 weeks) before you would be expected to manage things. Throughout the process full support will be provided by your account manager and supervisors.
