A manufacturing business based in Grimsby is recruiting for an IT Systems Support Specialist to join their team on a contract to permanent basis. The IT Systems Support Specialist will be responsible for providing IT support services to the company's employees, acting as the first point of contact for those who need support with the IT systems.
This is is an excellent opportunity to join a well know business, where you will be offered a competitive salary of up to GBP23,000 inclusive of 'on call' premiums.
Reporting into the IT Systems Support Team Leader, key responsibilities will include:
Registering and prioritising incidents, resolving as many as possible on first contact
Communicating with customers on any investigations
Review and contribute on new learnings from incidents
Making recommendations for Continuous Service Improvement Plans.
Supporting ad hoc projectsWe are keen to speak with individuals who have strong IT and customer service skills, who either have previous experience in a similar role, or who can demonstrate transferable skills.
To be successful in this IT Systems Support Specialist role, you will:
Have a passion for IT and technology
Have excellent communication skills and be confident on the phone
Knowledge of IT service desk tools and best practices
