How to apply

We are looking for an individual to play a key role within the Introduction to Social Care Training programme.

As recruitment into social care can be seen as a challenging environment this training enables people to gain an understanding of working in care and give them the baseline knowledge to help them begin their career.

This role will be part of the WeCare Wales Team and will build on the work of a pilot programme to take to a national level.

Key to this role includes:

  • Playing a key role in connecting with potential delegates and understanding their needs and requirements

  • Working with key partners such as employability programmes, Careers Wales, DWP to make connections for delegates to support them on their recruitment journey

  • Support training delegates post training to maximise their potential for finding employment, utilising the WeCare Wales Jobs Portal

  • Ensuring the programme evolves to incorporate learning and remains effective and efficient.
