Solicitor / Associate / Fee Earner
Our client is seeking to recruit a Solicitor / Associate (with at least 5 years experience) to join their Commercial Property team based in either their Burgess Hill, Brighton or London office.
Their Commercial Property team deal with all aspects of commercial real estate legal issues; including:
* acquisitions and disposals;
* commercial leasing;
* asset management;
* development; and
* real estate elements of corporate/asset sales.
Our client acts for landowners, landlords, tenants/occupiers, developers, local government, lenders and real estate professionals across the industry.
Due to increase in work and success in business development their commercial property team has need for Solicitors or Associates who have experience of commercial property work or have experience during their training contract and wish to qualify into the commercial property team. You will have the opportunity to work for some of our largest and most important clients. The role offers a hands on and collaborative approach with clients and will generate significant experience at an early stage of your career.
We are seeking applications from candidates who have relevant commercial property experience. In particular:
* asset management work (including licences for alterations, licences to assign, deeds of surrender and agreements for lease);
* negotiating leases (acting for both landlords and tenants);
* ability to manage files files from start to completion;
* confidence to liaise directly with clients (although guidance and supervision will be available and encouraged). The successful candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrating initiative, as well as part of a team.
