Two Rivers Recruitment is in the market for an ambitious Operations Manager to work with our fast-growing client in the engineering sector. Based in Paisley with responsibility for managing the fabrication workstream to ensure that all operational activities are delivered cost-efficiently whilst maintaining excellent quality, environmental, and safety standards

About the Job
To succeed in this Operations Manager role, you will need to demonstrate a passion for delivering operational results and contributing to the sales and profit targets. Your key responsibilities will be as follows:
* Management of the fabrication and welding workstreams ensuring operational efficiency
* Planning and scheduling of workload keeping productivity levels to a maximum
* Lead the design team in the preparation of design deliverables in accordance with engineering construction requirements
* Lead the design team to carry out scoping and site surveys where required and create detailed CAD drawings for production and on-site work
About the Person
To succeed in this Operations Management role, you will most likely have proven managerial experience preferably within the mechanical engineering and/or fabrication sector. You will also have experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings and associated documentation as well as the practical application of planning and scheduling methods. As you can imagine for an Operations Management role of this nature, you will be expected to be commercial astute, with first-class communication skills and strong problem-solving capability. Ideally, you will have an understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Salary
The rewards for the Operations Manager position will be circa GBP40k to GBP42k but could be negotiable depending on experience.
