Senior Building Surveyor (Housing)
Your new company
This Building Consultancy works with a number of housing organisations and local authorities across the UK. They offer professional development, such as RICS, and progression.
Your new role
You will be managing a project and survey workload across Yorkshire. This will include a variety of surveys such as: party wall, measured, condition and dilaps. You will prepare tender documentation, carry out feasibility studies, carry out defect diagnosis and cost management. You will lead project teams and support people in the office with technical expertise and their workload. You will be an effective interface with clients, building relationships to ensure a continuous pipeline of work.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Building Surveying degree and well rounded experience working with housing associations. You might be chartered or working towards this. You will have the ability to lead a team, carrying out 1-2-1's and creating a positive office environment. You will have a great understanding of CDM, AutoCAD, building regulations and construction contracts (NEC & JCT).
