Residential Childcare Worker
Our client, a well known residential childcare provider are looking to appoint a motivated and knowledgeable Residential Child Care Worker to join their team within their specialist children's home in the Knowsley area.
As a Residential Childcare Worker you will be committed to providing a positive and stable environment for the children within your care. We are looking for experienced, professional individuals dedicated to enriching and making a positive difference to the lives of these vulnerable young people.
Successful applicants will have experience of supporting young people who present with emotional and behavioural difficulties and those at risk of sexual exploitation.
Residential Child Care Workers must be resilient and approachable for work with these youngsters who can be both verbally, physically and mentally challenging as a result of their often traumatic life experiences.
A Residential Child Care qualification is ideally required and potential candidates will be subject to a vigorous screening process including references and enhanced DBS checks.
This is a temporary contract for up to 4 weeks initally however very likely to be extended. Further contracts/casual work also available with Ashberry.
3-4 shifts per week. The hours of work are 10:00-22:00 Monday to Sunday.
