Assistant Development Manager Job - North West
A new Assistant Development Manager job opportunity working as part of the residential development division of one of the UK's largest development and regeneration businesses.
As an Assistant Development Manager for residential and mixed-use developments across the North West, you will be supporting the development team on various mixed-use and multi-tenure developments, contributing in the identification and appraisal of development opportunities. The role will be based from their office in Preston with hybrid working available from the office and home.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development team
- Contribute to the negotiation of the appointment of contractors, consultants and other suppliers
- Assist in risk management
- Contribute towards the negotiation of the acquisition of property and land
- Prepare project costs and manage budgets throughout the developments and projects
- Assist in the management of the design process
- Assist in marketing and public relations information for related events
Skills & Experience Required
- Held a previous role as an Assistant Development Manager or similar ideally with a housebuilder
- Well rounded project management experience from design stages through to completion
- It would be desirable if you have experience in affordable housing
