Teaching Assistant Support in EYFS

A primary school based in Stockport are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support their EYFS pupils. It is advantageous for the successful candidate to be aware of the ELKLAN speech and language scheme. This position is a full-time, long-term role, with the potential of a permanent contract.
This primary school aims to equip their children with the skills, knowledge and attitudes which will allow them to develop a love of learning and confidence in themselves that they can take with them in the future. The school prides themselves on creating an inclusive and harmonious learning environment for all pupils, families and the wider community.
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
*Hold a teaching assistant qualification
*Experience of working with EYFS children
*You will ideally have knowledge and experience of Speech & Language resources, schemes and support mechanisms such as pictorial systems, visual timetables and now & next cards
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and
professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
