Our client, a prominent Stockport Hotel, is looking for an experienced Chef to join their Restaurant Team. The ideal candidate will have c2 years' experience in a similar role, who has a high level of attention to detail and to deliver a high quality of work.
Reporting to the Head Chef, key responsibilities will include:
Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
Being responsible for health and safety
Being responsible for food hygiene practices
Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
The role would suit someone who comes from a hotel, restaurant, catering, hospitality or similar background. Any previous experience in a leadership role would also be useful.
Excellent rates of pay are on offer for the right candidate - details on application.
The nature of working in a hotel is that some flexibility is ordinarily required in terms of working hours but this role will require availability to work evenings and weekends to support events, weddings and corporate functions on a regular basis. Send your CV in the first instance.
