We are pleased to be recruiting for an Office Administrator to assist in providing support to the legal function of a business. The key task of the role will be to process legal reports and related documents that have been written by professionals. This involves in depth proof reading, correction of grammar/text, formatting and creation of costing tables using an excel spreadsheet so we would be keen on hearing from English and History graduates as well as strong Administrators with a good level of literacy.

The candidate will need to be articulate, have excellent verbal and good written communication skills, be reliable and able to use own initiative, whilst also working as part of a small team. Attention to detail is important in this role due to dealing with important legal documents. A good level of computer literacy and an excellent telephone manner, and to be familiar with all Microsoft Office applications is a must (Word, Excel etc)

This role will also require the ability to work under pressure as well as being able to deliver and complete tasks to strict deadlines.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

Duties:

* Proofread legal documents

* Correction of grammar/text, formatting and creation of costing tables using an excel spreadsheet

* Process legal reports

* A range of administrative duties

* Assist in other functions such as the training department e.g. with preparation of training materials for course

Candidates requirements:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Good reading skills (fast but thorough, accurate; good concentration)

* Excellent telephone manner

* Conscientious, well organised with good attention to detail, including good presentation skills (i.e. written)

* Computer literate in the use of Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Outlook & Excel) as well as good keyboard skills;

* Ability to (learn to) use a database

* Good level of numeracy

* General administrative skills

* Be able to use own initiative and display a courteous and professional manner at all times

* Able to work under pressure

* Able to work well as part of small team
