Home Delivery Driver (3.5 tonne) - long term temporary placement

Indeed Flex is hiring - 3.5t Delivery Driver needed for an immediate start with long term temporary placement!

Our client, the second largest chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom, is looking for dedicated Delivery Drivers to help our clients make their customer’s days.

We’ll expect you to make every delivery a great experience, so apply below if this sounds like the perfect job for you!

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Loading van for deliveries at the start of shift
• Using a handheld app to follow delivery patterns
• Preparing and safely operating a vehicle for the majority of the shift
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
• Heavy lifting
• Working safely and accurately at speed and following instructions

Shift allocation:

• Variety of shifts available between 6 am and 11 pm
• You will get at least 1 week's notice of changes in your rota
• You will get at least one weekend day off and another day off in the week.
• The drivers who will be working 36hrs will work 5 out of 7 days, those on 30hrs or 20hrs will work 4 out of 7 days.

Salary: Starting from £11.35 per hour and up to £17.04 per hour for night shifts and bank holidays.

To be successful in your application, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be aged at least 18 years or over and hold a UK/EU manual driving license for at least 12 months (with no more than 6 points on your licence) and have professional job experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle within the last 3 years.
• You will also need a smartphone for accessing the Flex App!
