Whether it is performing within unique character experiences in CBeebies Land, engaging with the guests in live street theatre, presenting game shows at the hotels or performing at unique events, we are seeking experienced professionals to join our Entertainments Team!

 About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Chefs to join our Kitchens team at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy! 

In this role you'll find that keeping one of the county's largest catering establishments running smoothly is no mean feat.  You'll manage and supervise and help develop our menus.  Rising to the challenge, you'll make the Chef de Partie role your own and provide excellent support to the Head Chef.

You'll:

  • Help recruit, train and manage kitchen staff

  • Make sure that equipment and mise en places are ready to go before each service

  • Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed

  • Oversee the daily organisation of the kitchen

  • Help minimise waste, whilst maximising profit levels

  • Strive to exceed our customers' expectations

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in the catering industry or experience within a similar role. The role will involve the training of new team members, so having a passion for the development of others would be an advantage.

With us having 5 hotels come with a very large catering team so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. We pride ourselves are the ability to offer a wide variety of food offerings, our next Chef De Partie would need to have a professional approach to their daily work routine whilst allowing for a sense of fun along the way.

The role is fixed term initially, full time and will include regular weekends & Bank Holidays.
