Operative – Packing

You will report to the Factory Shift Manager and the shift pattern will be based on a monthly rotation working days and nights working the following:
3 weeks working 3 x 12 hours, 1 week working 4 x 12 hours (rotating days and nights 05:00-17:00/17:00-05:00)

With this shift pattern, you will only work 169 shifts per year, an average of 14 days per month.

About the role

In your role as Operative, you will be responsible for packing our finish products in our chilled environment to be sent to our customers. You will be required to follow processes against our visual standards to the correct specification and work in a target driven environment to achieve the daily shift targets for safety, quality, and output. You will be working as part of a team of people manufacturing products on a line and ensuring customer satisfaction raising any issues to the Senior Operative / Factory Shift Manager where necessary.

About the role

In your role as Supply Chain Operative, you will be responsible for stock control and rotation along with using manual handling equipment such as pump truck, training will be provided. You will also be required to load and unload of vehicles and work in a target driven environment to achieve the daily shift targets for safety, quality, and output.
