Hopper Operative /  Line Feeder / Depositor – Operative/Feeder

You will report to the Factory Shift Manager and the shift pattern will be based on 7-day fortnight working the following:

7-day Fortnight, weekdays 7:00-18:00, Thursday 06:45-18:00, weekends 07:00-18:30. An example of the days are below:

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

With this shift pattern, you will only work 183 shifts per year, an average of 15 days per month.

About the role

In your role as Hopper Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that you have selected the correct components (e.g. cook sauces, cook rice, cook proteins) and suppling and feeding the line ensuring the hoppers/depositors are replenished. You will be the key contact to ensuring the machines and your workstation are kept safe, clean and tidy at all times whilst carrying out your role. You will also be required to assist with the production, working on the assembly line as and when required.

Machine Minder  / Machine Setter / Machine Operative

About the role

In your role as Machine Minder, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the day to day operation of machinery (depositing/ packaging /automated depositing system in high care or in line cook / cooling processes in low care) within your area ensuring the machines are set up to the safety and control standards. You will be the key contact to ensuring the machines are kept safe, clean and tidy at all times and conduct checks along with completing documentation. You will also be required to assist with the production, working on the assembly line as and when required.
