We have an exciting opportunity for a Holidays Manager, on a 12 month fixed term contract, who will manage the day to day operation of the NETS holiday business, focusing on the successful delivery of a commercially successful holiday programme through management of the product, marketing and sales functions.
As the successful candidate, you will have proven experience of managing successful teams within the travel/holidays industry. You will be commercially astute, with a proven track record of delivering commercially successful products. You will have the ability to think creatively and strategically, along with excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills with proven experience of managing high calibre teams.
What you'll do...
Prepare for the Directors and Managing Director sales updates, revenue and expenses reporting, and present realistic forecasts as and when required.
Analyse sales and other reports that give insight into how adjustment can be made to improve sales performance
Manage relationships with key trade sales partners, supporting them to achieve their sales targets and ensuring they have adequate information to sell products successfully
Continue existing strong relationships with key product suppliers, including hotel and attraction providers.
Ensure the Product team have all the support they need to design and deliver a commercially successful holiday tour programme
Work closely with internal stakeholders including Operations to ensure the successful delivery of the product programme
Drive innovation and creative thinking when designing future programmes and programme expansion strategies
Proactively gather and incorporate customer feedback into the programme design process, making product improvements where appropriate
Support the marketing team to ensure appropriate marketing messages are delivered to customers in a way that enables maximum ROI
Manage, inspire, motivate and supervise the Sales Consultants Team, with the managerial aim to transform and maximise their individual and team sales potential, and identify any training and development needs as required
Deliver inspirational and motivational team meetings, positively driving the team forward to success, and monitor analyse and report trends in morale and motivation and take appropriate action where necessary to meet the required standards
Undertake any other duties deemed reasonable to meet the demands of the business and service delivery requirements.
