HR Officer/Generalist

My client is a highly respected London Property Investment and Development company quoted on the London Stock Exchange. The Company, which employs just over 120 people, owns around GBP2.5 billion of real estate - primarily commercial but also retail and residential - 100% in central London. The business focuses on acquiring, managing and developing properties - to reposition them and unlock their full potential. This approach, combined with successful reading of the real estate market, continues to deliver shareholder returns and makes for a dynamic environment in which to work.
The role is a generalist position and is responsible for the efficient, accurate and timely administration of all core employment processes throughout the employee lifecycle specifically new starters, terms and conditions changes, holiday and sickness absence recording, benefits schemes and leavers. The role holder will be responsible for providing a valued service to employees and fulfilling a critical support role within the HR team. You must have experience ER/ Ops Support, Payroll(Bureau)
Responsibilities include:
Assist with reviewing and developing efficient and streamlined HR processes
Undertake pre-screening checks for new joiners, including passport checks- system for tracking passport
Assist in the preparation of the annual training & development budget and keep it up to date at all times
Diary management to organise team meetings and appointments on behalf of HR team
Monitor probation periods for new joiners, notifying the Senior HRA of upcoming dates and preparing the necessary paperwork and update the People Tracker in a timely manner.
