The Breckland Lodge is currently recruiting for a full time Chef De Partie to join a brigade of 11. As a member of our team you will cater for Restaurant, Bar and Coffee lounge areas which offer a variety of choices including Breakfast, Carvery, traditional fare, Al La Carte and a selection of light bites, cakes and scones.

As a Chef De Partie you will be required to have the skill to run your own section while working alongside others in your team. Daily duties will involve preparing your section for the day, cooking food fresh to order, assisting other members of the team where necessary, and the closing down and cleaning of the kitchen at the end of the day.

The successful candidate will have

* previous experience of working within a kitchen

* commitment to working as part of a team but have good initiative to work independently

* ability to work in a very fast paced environment

* good communication skills

* Have good knowledge of safe working practises and requirements of COSHH, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety

* Good knowledge of allergens and ingredients

* excellent time keeping skills and be well presented

Shifts will include a mixture of mostly straight and some split working patterns and will include a variety of mornings, evenings and weekends. The position is full time and based around a 44 hour week.

Excellent rates of pay and salary dependant on experience
