IT Support/Customer Service Specialist
Redhill, Surrey

IT Support/Customer Service Specialist required by a thriving financial services organisation based in Redhill (remote working initially). You will have strong organisation skills, great attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Within this role you will be responsible for supporting one of the company's key online platforms (full training given), working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, so excellent customer service and communication skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver an accurate, efficient and reliable service through:
- Adherence to agreed service-levels, prioritising requests and escalating conflicts where appropriate
- Ensuring that requests and issues have requirements sufficiently catalogued and documented
- Liaising with clients to ensure that requested work meet expectations and that timescales and deliverables are communicated in a clear and timely manner
- Acting as first-line support for clients' queries
- Proactively identifying client training and support needs and carrying these out
- Investigating platform data anomalies and taking corrective action as required
- Including robust checks in all work
- Acquiring data files in a timely manner and supporting clients with provision of, and guidance on using, standard data templates where needed
- Performing quality assessments to check the validity, accuracy and consistency of acquired files and addressing issues as is necessary
- Using Excel to prepare data for import
- Completing the monthly self-service checks on all data processed by self-serving clients, providing feedback, guidance and additional training where needed
- Identifying process improvements that drive increased efficiencies and/or quality
- Completing regular data integrity checks through reporting and process adherence
- Ensuring that deliverables comply with GDPR and other similar regulations and guidelines as required by the business
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in customer services with the ability to communicate with internal and external users
- Excellent administration skills, with a passion for putting our clients first
- Ability in using Excel at an intermediate level an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills and a proven ability to plan work on multiple projects with differing timescales
- Able to work independently with a strong sense of wider team priorities and work position, stepping in to support colleagues when needed
