Production Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group Engineering & Manufacturing have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, passionate, and results-driven Production Manager to join a thriving and innovative manufacturing company based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

The role of the Production Manager will be to oversee a team of 3 Production Supervisors who each have circa 20-30 skilled and semi-skilled operatives on the shop floor. You will train, develop and performance manage their daily performance around agreed production targets, quality, housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

* Confidently lead and motivate your production team
* Manage your team to achieve targets and results
* Monitor daily progress and conduct SQCDP reviews
* Maintain production quality standards, drive health & safety standards, excellent 5s housekeeping

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Experience with managing teams of 50 skilled operatives & direct reports
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience within a manufacturing environment such as FMCG, complex assembly, building products or machine shops in a target driven environment
* IOSH qualified
* Passion for continuous improvement, driving change and achieving results
* Absence management
* Flexible with working hours
* Confident decision-maker
