Management Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to work alongside their Finance Manager and the rest of the Finance team to provide accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting to the wider business.

With part remote working available, this role will be predominantly focused on the delivered sales area of the business offering the opportunity to really get into and evaluate the drivers of financial performance for this changing area of the company.

Purpose of the role:

• Provide financial control whilst at the same time developing relationships within the business to provide support and insight to the operational teams
• Preparation of periodic management accounts and variance analysis for review by Finance Manager to agreed deadlines
• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist in pulling together robust forecasts and budgets to measure business performance
• Preparation of a suite of weekly reports that support decision making by the business
• Support other members of the team and the business as required
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Skills required:

• Part / Fully qualified Accountant
• Excellent communication skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to highlight opportunities and add value
• Seeks to implement and improve processes
• Strong number/analytical and technical skills
• Takes responsibility for own actions and results
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Advanced Excel skills essential, SQL / Azure knowledge preferable
• SAP experience would be advantageous
