Wedding and Events Coordinator
St. John's House is a beautifully restored, luxury boutique venue in the heart of Lichfield. Due to our continued growth we require a full-time experienced Events Co-Ordinator to join our growing business to design, plan and execute bespoke events for our clients for up to 100 people. As a small yet dynamic team, we thrive on delivering a first class, memorable customer experience with a clear focus on building lasting connections and repeat bookings from our guests.
Principally, Wedding and Events Coordinator responsibilities will include;
* Understanding our clients' needs and creating an individual event in line with their requirements. Events will include weddings, celebrations, private dinners and business meetings.
* Designated point of contact regarding all matters relating to the events you organise for our customers; replying to enquiries, preparing quotes and meeting clients in person to discuss their requirements in detail.
* In line with client requirements you will create a personalised menu including menu tasting, room layout, drinks reception and event timings schedule.
* Organising and delivering in-house wedding fayres, liaising closely with external suppliers to showcase St John's House and our passion for delivering first class events.
What we're looking for in a Wedding and Events Coordinator;
* 2 years minimum experience within a similar role, with a proven track record of organising high quality bespoke weddings and celebrations for similar sized events.
* An outgoing, friendly and approachable attitude with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service.
* A great communicator at all levels with the ability to build a professional rapport with customers.
* An absolute natural at organising and planning with clear and methodical attention to detail.
* Resilience; able to manage customers expectations efficiently with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* A positive and enthusiastic persona, highly self-motivated and a proactive approach, with a strong focus on customer service.
* Happy to work weekends and some evenings
* A keen interest and ability to promote St John's House using PR, social media and networking opportunities.
* Immaculate presentation.
