Monday - Friday 06.00-15.00 / 09.00 - 18.00 (rotating shifts) occasional Sundays
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a friendly and dynamic team along with long term career development opportunities. My client has a fleet of 80 vehicles and support customers in a variety of sectors. The business is growing rapidly with further expansion plans for the near future.
Responsibilities:
* Pre-allocate loads (full and unit picks)
* Input pre-advises for customer inbounds
* Ensure advanced pick position is maintained in line with shift plan.
* Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
* Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
* Selecting Loading / Un-loading Bay based on current operational requirements.
* Updating the Electronic Schedule and Auto-store to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
* Carryout stock shortage investigations on picks.
* Monitor replenishments
* Compile and send reports as required.
* Control equipment allocation within area RDT/MHE Registers
* Use and develop skills in multiple warehouse management applications
* Follow instructions from your FLM / Shift Manager.
* Maintain good communication with your FLM / Shift Manager. Confident to escalate issues
* Undertake system housekeeping relevant to role
Skills/Attributes:
* Previous experience of working within a stock control environment
* Strong administration skills
* Able to organise workload in a consistent and methodical way.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building and a strong communicator
* Ability to plan, prioritise, work to deadlines, without supervision and on their own initiative.
* High levels of drive and enthusiasm.
* Meticulous in their approach.
* Numerate and IT literate
