HR Advisor

Page Personnel are supporting a nationally recognised manufacturing organisation based in Barnsley who are actively seeking an Interim HR Advisor to join their HR function on an initial 6 month FTC. This will be a fast-paced and highly varied role, providing generalist advice across the entire employee lifecycle from managing E.R casework, upskilling line management and involvement in various projects.

Description

In this busy and varied Interim HR Advisor position, roles and responsibilities are to include;

Proactively manage employee relations cases ranging from formal grievance to disciplinary investigations whilst ensuring correct and fair processes are followed at all times throughout the investigations
Provide coaching to Managers and Team Leaders on performance improvement plans and resolving issues before escalation
Manage performance review cycle for business units, ensuring all communications and documentation are managed on time and effectively
Provide accurate advice to employees on queries relating to policies, procedures, terms and conditions of employment such as flexible working requests, and employee benefits
Produce regular and ad hoc reports for client areas and provide dialogue to support where necessary
Be the HR presence and first point of contact for employees, Team Leaders and Managers in the Barnsley siteProfile

CIPD level 5 Qualification or equivalent HR experience is essential
Experience of advising line managers on ER issues
CIPD qualification would be preferable
Strong understanding of UK employment law legislation
Public sector background is preferred
