Production Operative

Due to exceptional growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a number of Production Operatives to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Production Operative Job Details & Benefits;

• Monday - Friday
• Rotating shifts consisting of Days 6am-2.30pm & Afternoons 2-10.30pm
• GBP9.25 per hour to start, rising to GBP10.25 when trained and further earning potential to GBP13 per hour with on-going training / sign off
• Permanent role after 12 weeks

• Additional training offered on forklift, loading shovel etc with the opportunity of progressing within the Company
• 22 days holiday + bank holidays when permanent increasing to 25 days in length of service

Production Operative Job Details;

• Operating machinery
• Weighing and labelling products
• Stacking products onto pallets manually
• Performing machine checks
• Quality checking the products
• Forklift operation - training is provided
• Work to and ensure targets/deadlines are met
• Adhere to H&S within the workplace
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment

Production Operative Person Specification;

• Must be physically fit due to lifting and moving the product
• Happy to stand for the duration of your shift & complete repetitive duties
• Previous experience of using a computer and IT literate is desirable
• A valid FLT licence is desirable however not essential as training is available if interested
