Community Sports Worker
Positive Futures Lincolnshire are seeking to employ a member of staff on a one year fixed term contract who will work from our Grantham site helping embed the Positive Futures model into local communities promoting Lincolnshire County Councils ethos of community empowerment.
Positive Futures is an innovative community sports project that aims to help young people avoid involvement in offending and risk taking behaviour through positive activities and creating routes back into participation, education, volunteering and employment.
The role will require the successful candidate to engage young people in sport and physical activity and then use that shared interest to help young people develop new skills and find positive change.
We are looking for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and community minded individual to become part of the existing team in Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will have experience in developing, planning and delivering community projects and have experience of working in sport.

Part of the interview process will be for candidates to give a 10 minute presentation on the following:
'Identify how sport and physical activity can be used to tackle current issues facing 14-19 year olds in Lincolnshire'
