We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our HR Organisational Change Team

You will provide a wide range of administrative support in a flexible, efficient and effective way to a small team of Senior HR Advisers and Team Leader, who deliver a range of HR organisational change projects across four organisations.

For this exciting and challenging role you'll need excellent organisational, communication and IT skills enabling you to produce high quality work across a range of Microsoft O365 applications and bespoke IT systems. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is highly desirable. You'll need to be self-motivated and have excellent customer service skills, as well as an understanding of HR principles or have a keen interest in learning and developing within this area. Able to use your own initiative, capable of working under pressure and to deadlines. Experience of working in a highly confidential setting is desirable.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Acting as first point of contact for HR queries, resolving where possible (coordinating responses - via Customer Contact System C4C, Outlook and/or telephone)
  • Working with team members to plan and schedule project support tasks, agreeing priorities and timescales - often dealing with multiple projects simultaneous, using an Excel-based planning tool.
  • Completing project support tasks within their required timescales
  • Preparing project support material
  • Coordinating the sending of communications to potentially large groups of staff - frequently using Microsoft Word mail merge tools
  • Preparing and maintaining staffing data, tracking outcomes of reviews, preparing mail merge documents and issuing change requests to payroll
  • Supporting the team with implementation of technology changes
  • Responsible for an Audit spreadsheet (maintenance of, and reporting on when required) and liaising with Finance, internal and external Audit.
  • Working alongside colleagues in other departments to provide a joined-up service (i.e. Recruitment, Payroll, Business Partners).
