We're looking for a data expert to join the Marketing team. Your responsibilities will include tracking online marketing campaigns and on-site behaviour, utilizing data to develop campaign strategies and optimizing and reporting online campaign performance.
The role will provide analytical support to identify, understand and explain the key business KPIs that drive customer acquisition and retention as well as supporting the broader business with intelligent consumer-driven marketing insight and analytics. To be successful as our Digital Marketing Analyst, you should have strong technical skills and be comfortable working with colleagues in our Development team and Business Intelligence.
Reporting to the Head of User Experience and supporting the wider marketing team with all Data & Analytics.
Responsibilities will include:
Management of the Google Analytics platform, validate tracking and data flow on all new projects, you're probably the GA super user in your current role!
Manage and maintain key dashboards in Datastudio utilised within Marketing team and wider business to make Real Time trading decisions
Develop, track and monitor key KPIs around customer acquisition and retention, incorporating data from other sources
Cost per acquisition by channel analysis, working with different attribution models
Ensure and deliver accurate measurement and visibility of return on marketing investments;
Analyse the roles that product categories and price points play throughout the various stages of the customer life cycle
Become the company's Superuser of the Customer Insights tool to monitor Customer LIfetime Value Scenario analysis to aid the financial budgeting process
Work closely with the wider BI Team to help shape, develop and improve the business' reporting infrastructure and the interplay between different systems
Ad hoc analysis as required to support strategic projects
Requirements (skills, software, education):
The role requires an individual who has a range of technical, analytical, presentation and commercial skills.
They will have the ability to think strategically and conceptually and will possess a high level of judgement, drive and influence.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience of working in an E-commerce business
An advanced user of Google Analytics, and with experience of using BigQuery Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
Understanding of relational data models
Experience with a BI visualisation/analytical tool, preferably Google Data Studio
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive mindset and be self-motivated to work to tight deadlines
The ability to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Strong communication skills to explain complex data-driven trends to a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders
Confidence in their judgement and show drive and influence Data centric and delivery focused
