Accounts Assistant. ***Brand new role just in***. RECfinancial are excited to be recruiting exclusively for this rapidly growing organisation, based in the heart of Leicester. If you’re an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a new and exciting challenge, then read on.

Having experience as an Accounts Assistant in the areas below, you will be a real team player whilst still being able to work on your own initiative. This is something our client really encourages You may be AAT qualified at this stage or may well be currently studying. You will be involved in the following;

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for all financial administration including recording and reconciling financial transactions for UK & Overseas business – Purchase ledger / Sales Ledger / Cashbook / Inventory Control
• To oversee all aspects of finance processing up to management accounts
• Sales ledger management
• Processing sales invoices
• Working with wider team to ensure accuracy of sales data
• Credit control
• Cashbook allocation

• Purchase ledger management
• Invoice checking & coding
• Posting invoices to Sage
• Reconciling to supplier statements
• Supplier payments
• Inventory
• Maintain GRN log working with operations to ensure tight controls of the goods in process
• Monitoring cut off, receipts of stock, GRN process
• Inventory reconciliations & queries
• Consignment stock reconciliation
• Daily & month end bank reconciliations
• Current Account
• Credit Card
• Control account reconciliations
• Assist with completion of the financial month end
• Query resolution
• Adhoc financial duties / projects as required
• Occasional support to other team members
• Sage experience is ideal but not essential
• Solid Excel skills.
