Jackson Hogg is pleased to be working with Whessoe in their search for a Finance Assistant. This role will be based in Darlington on a permanent basis offering part time hours..
The organisation is looking for a motivated and capable individual looking to work circa 25 hours however some flexibility can be offered. This organisation is a well-established brand name in the northeast delivering over 200 years of innovation and excellence. The purpose of this role is to provide accounting information on a timely basis working closely with the company accountant, using systems such as SUN, and Vision; alongside building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* To input data such as: invoices, journals and payment runs.
* Authorising payments.
* Processing expenses and supporting with monthly payroll.
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
* Download AR and AP reports.
* Manage the set up of new starters and leavers on the system.
* Prepare monthly over time and casual labour reports.
* Prepare monthly sickness report for the HR department.
Experience and Skills:
* Previous experience is essential.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Disciplined and organised.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Keen eye for detail with the ability to be accurate.
* Sound IT skills with knowledge and experience of using excel and word.
Qualifications:
* AAT Qualified or working towards AAT qualification.
