Other expectations; Some weekend working will be involved - normally every other Saturday.

Julian House is delighted to be opening a new charity shop in Devizes. In order to make the business a success and generate a useful contribution towards the charity's services, an Assistant Shop Manager is now being sought. Candidates ideally will have retail shop experience, be great with people, a good organiser, self motivated and energetic.

Job Role;

- Support the Manager in achieving the shop income and profit targets by maximising sales, minimising costs and constantly looking at better ways to promote the business

- Ensure the shop premises are clean and tidy and that all merchandise is displayed to maximum effect.

- Guarantee that the customer's first impression on entering is a good one.

- Continue this standard of cleanliness and organisation through to the sorting room.

- Satisfy all statutory obligations and constantly monitor health and safety compliance requirements.

- Help to generate a steady supply of good quality stock donations.
