Note:This is an FTC for 6 months

As a Manager you will have the responsibility for driving team performance in the delivery of manual matching and / or quality assurance activities resulting in the assurance, protection, and continuous improvement of the Sky customer viewing experience.

What you'll do:

* Proactively manage a large to middle size team (8 to 15 people), ensuring individual and collective standards are of met, with pragmatic improvement plans in place where they fall short
* Lead and facilitate operational improvement activities within the team fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Collaborate with fellow Metadata Ops leadership to drive group wide improvements in systems, processes, and performance
* Provide training on new systems, process changes, and other developments
* Complete line managerial procedural duties regarding sickness management, performance reviews, follow recruitment processes for replacements, etc
* Deputise for other Metadata Operations leadership if required

What you'll bring:

* Knowledge of either the media or metadata industries, with demonstrable experience in leading mid to large size teams
* Demonstrable aptitude for creating high-energy, delivery focused environments
* Demonstrable experience in using MI and operational controls to drive performance
* Self-starter with experience of collaborative working and influencing people within and across teams
* Understanding of process improvement methodologies and experience in operational change management desirable
* Fluent English required with German or Italian languages an asset
