Payroll Administrator (12-month FTC)

Salary: GBP21,704 plus up to 5% bonus

Location: Remote/Chandlers Ford

Are you an experienced Administrator with an interest in moving into a finance department?

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday.

What does the role involve?

The Payroll Team is responsible for ensuring that all employees at Utilita are paid correctly and on time.

You will support the team with administrative tasks, including data entry, maintaining pension, childcare, and bespoke deductions, and submitting information to the HMRC.

You will work on Excel spreadsheets and monitor the email inbox, ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely manner. You will also communicate regularly with internal departments such as HR and employees via various methods, including Microsoft teams' virtual meetings.

What do we need from you?

We are looking for an experienced Administrator who has a good eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. It would be highly advantageous if you have experience/ a good understanding of what a Payroll team is responsible for (i.e PAYE and yearly p11d/Psa processes).

You will have experience in meeting tight deadlines and prioritising your own workload to ensure you can meet them. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you will be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
